Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

• Greet patients, take vitals, patient intake, and document purpose of visit
• Prep patient for provider
• Help with birth control procedures, women's health procedures, and during OB appointments
• Utilize EMR system for documentation
• Perform patient callbacks and medication refill requests
• Perform blood draws and injections
• Other duties as needed

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant

• 2+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience required
• OB/GYN or family med experience highly preferred
• Medical Assistant diploma or certification required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen

Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant – Full-time, $19-$21 per hour, Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Excellent opportunity with the largest women's health group in the Valley!
