GTS is a new behavioral health outpatient treatment agency offering integrated treatment seeking an outgoing Medical Assistant to provide medical, administrative and clinical support to Nurse Practitioners.
As an MA, you will participate on a Medical Team that assists the nurse practitioners by taking vital signs, providing injections, scheduling and verifying insurance. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.
Experience working with the forensic population is preferred, but not required. It should be noted that our Judicial Contracts require staff to pass criminal history reviews on a regular basis.
Position is full-time! Most of your hours will be at your primary location in the COS office; however, some of your time will be in the Canon City Office.
Hours: Mon-Thrs. 8:00am-7:00pm (Off Friday-Sunday; lunch daily 12:30-1:30pm)
