Medical Assistant
Medical Office is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistants. This is NOT a Temporary Job Position. Great potential for growth with benefits based on performance after three months probation. Respectful, Maturity and Willingness to accept constructive criticisms to grow is required. Training will be provided to qualified and interested candidates. More flexible schedule preferred. Note: Minimum of 1-3 years experience working in a doctor’s office as a medical assistant is preferred. The qualified applicant should possess attention to detail skills, ability to recall/remember learned tasks without being reminded by doctors, physician assistants or coworkers to their assigned work is a must. The qualified and selected applicants must be polite, respect superiors and peers, team player, courteous, and hardworking, with flexibility in the applicant’s schedule are required. We seek candidates who are capable of multi-tasking in a busy office practice, ability to answer multiple phone lines simultaneously, schedule patient appointments, communicating with patients and insurance companies for referrals, eligibility, deductible, pre-certification and authorizations. Reliable, emotional maturity (no attitudes), willingness to accept constructive criticism as part of the training and learning, hardworking, motivation to work independently upon training.
The applicant should possess the necessary skills to perform data entry, Excel, EMR, copying, scanning, faxing, and filing, checking vital signs, if necessary, taking patients history, checking in and out as well as closing the office. Full training will be provided to highly motivated, serious and qualified applicants who are interested and seeking a permanent working relationship with the company. Note: The selected candidate will have the opportunity to volunteer for 1 day to see if this position is the right one for them before officially hired. This position is NOT 9 A.M.- 5 P.M. Depending on patients and the practice needs, be expected to stay past 5 PM or later (open- close).
Driving (reliable and personal transportation) preferred. Excellent Professional References required.
