Medical Assistant – Full Time (Longwood)

Busy general practice in Longwood is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy experience. Ideal candidate must be professional, reliable, with excellent communication and customer service skills. Duties to include but not limited to:

· Room patients & assist provider with patient flow

· Taking patients vitals and entering them properly into the patients’ chart.

· Comfortable with drawing patients’ blood

· Documenting in the EMR (IMS- if not familiar with this system we will train you.)

· Maintaining exam rooms

· Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.

· Assist in cleaning vital station and restocking supplies at the end of the day

· Assist is maintaining faxes, voicemails, and medical records.

· Gathering and shipping out samples for further medical testing.

Experience and certification required within one year of employment. Salary commensurate with experience. Hours Monday-Thursday 7:45 am-5:30 pm.
