IronRod Health is a specialized cardiac device service provider, purpose-built for this new environment. We manage and integrate all aspects of device service, including patient education, in-clinic device checks, emergency service, remote monitoring, clinical reporting, billing and more. Our unique, local service model drives better care, greater efficiency and superior financial results for cardiology and EP practices, surgery centers, hospitals and device manufacturers nationwide.

Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
- Manage equipment & inventory
- Establishing initial relationships and educating patients on using the equipment
- Enrolling patients in the home monitoring program
- Set-Up equipment according to the prescribing physician's orders
- Document patient education services and plan in EMR
- Follow-Up with patients as needed to assure patient understanding and satisfaction
- Travel to multiple locations that may include out of state travel
- Other duties as assigned
Education, Work Experience and Requirements
- Comply with HIPAA regulations
- Requires travel to multiple locations
- Certificate from accredited Medical Assisting program
- Have a minimum 1-year patient care experience
- Experience in reading blood pressure, blood glucose levels and pulse oximetry
- Experience in Cardiology and reading EKG is a MUST
- Experience reviewing and managing remote device transmissions preferred
- Discuss general insurance coverage with patients
- Ability to multitask and provide highest quality of service
- Technically savvy regarding Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, and smartphones

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
