An amazing primary care physician is looking for a dedicated, compassionate person who enjoys working with team-oriented professionals. You will work with committed individuals who take pride in making a difference in the lives of their patients, providing exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate for this full-time position will be someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated. Your primary responsibilities will be facilitating the patient flow and obtaining pertinent information. This position is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Essential Functions:

· Communicating with patients and referring entities to gather necessary information for registration and insurance eligibility.

· Accurately obtain chief complaint, medication list, history, and other pertinent information. Communicates information to the physician.

· Ensures and facilitates patient flow and assists the physician with procedures and examinations.

· Accurately documents patient care including vitals, changes, and response to care.

· Managing the check in/check out process, including obtaining demographic information, insurance verification and processing appropriate forms

· Schedule appointments and collecting copays.

· Handle incoming calls and appropriately routing messages.

· Strong customer service skills.

· Knowledge of medical terminology.

· Ability to perform injections and vital signs with proficient use of associated equipment.

Required Qualifications:

· Medical Assistant certification

· BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1 year of healthcare experience.

· Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records systems, Allscripts preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
