Dermatology Center of Atlanta is looking for an experienced, friendly, outgoing Medical Assistant, with dermatology experience preferred. This is for a part-time, 3 to 4 FULL days/week position (7:45am-4:45pm). Beautiful office with a friendly, happy staff and great patients. We are in the Alpharetta/ Duluth area and need an experienced dermatology MA to work with physicians and/or mid-level providers. Must be able to Multi-task. Opportunity to assist with aesthetics/Cosmetics as well, if interested.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

• Escorting patient to and from exam room
• Obtaining medical history and accurately documenting visit in EHR (EMA)
• Assisting providers with patient care, including in-office procedures, surgeries and cosmetic injectables. Working as a team with the provider
• Must be able to multitask while maintaining excellent patient-centered customer service
• Patient education
• Scribing
• Upkeep, stocking and cleanliness of exam rooms and work station
• Educating patients, in person and on the phone, including proper documentation
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments

Requirements

• Must complete ALL Indeed Assessments in Indeed to be considered for this position.
• Must be able to Multi-Task
• EMR/computer experience (EMA a plus)
• 1-2+ years previous dermatology office experience preferred
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Advanced knowledge in relative medical terminology, diagnoses and medications
• Strong personal work ethic and the desire to work with others who care passionately about doing their best for the good of our patients
