Medical Director's:
- Oversees, guides, educates and counsels Hospice physicians. Serves as a resource to all Hospice Care clinicians and management.
- Provides counsel regarding medical issues within the hospice care teams and with the medical community.
- Promotes the hospice program, including developing and maintaining effective and positive relationships with healthcare professionals within the community and serving as a liaison to the local medical community.
- Directs and participates in discussions of Hospice medical policies and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, including at the time of initial and comprehensive assessment visits.
- Graduate physician, currently licensed to practice in the State of Arizona
- Maintains current D.E.A registration
- Board Certified preferred
- Has no history of exclusion from the Medicare or Medicaid programs; or criminal conviction, plea, or settlement relating to patient mistreatment or abuse, assault, embezzlement, or fraud.
