Our thriving multi-specialty, clinic has an opening for a Medical Front Office Coordinator for the positon of Patient Care & Site Coordinator at our Washington location! What We Expect:

We are seeking a Patient Care & Site Coordinator who really desires to be part of an organization that values sustainable change. You will stand out if you have at least two years of administrative experience in an outpatient, health care setting, have excellent computer skills, and have a solid understanding of health insurance terminology.

Essential Duties and

  • Greet patients upon arrival for appointments
  • Check in patients and obtain all information needed for appointment
  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner
  • Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and information such as test results in medical records
  • Call insurances for prior authorization and copay information
  • Guide patients through troubleshooting for telehealth appointments
  • Assist providers in administrative tasks - coordinate between patient and provider
  • Call in prescriptions to the pharmacy as needed
  • Schedule patient appointments and answer general questions
  • Answer internal communication questions
  • Prepare patient files for providers
  • Collaborate with other team members to provide excellent customer service
  • Complete other office tasks as needed
  • Help train new team members as needed
  • Communicate with patients in a professional manner through phone calls, emails and face to face
  • Manage patient accounts with contact information, insurance and financial information in a confidential manner
  • Other duties as assigned
