World Class, State-of-the-Art Medical Center located in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician to join their team! Great benefits and Sign-on Bonus available.
Hourly Rate : $22.00 - $28.00 & Sign On Bonus - $2,500
Medical Laboratory Technician Duties:
- Obtains Specimens from patients and performs established clinical tests and procedures according to policy
- Performs scheduled maintenance on lab instruments and equipment
- Brand new facility providing staff with the most up to date technology and equipment needed to perform daily tasks
Schedule:
- Full time, direct hire opportunity
- Shift differentials vary
- Medical Laboratory Technician shifts :
Day shift Microbiology:
Monday - Friday (6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.)
Evening shift Gen Lab:
7 on / 7 off (2:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.)
Night shift Gen Lab:
7 on / 7 off (8:30 p.m. - 7 a.m.)
The Medical Technologist Requirements:
- Must have a degree from an accredited program in Medical Technology or related field
- Must have ASCP or AMT or equivalent certification
- Very willing to work with scheduling!
The Alabama Location:
- Located right outside the heart of the city, fully integrated healthcare system in place
