Southern Kentucky Vascular Associates is a new practice seeking an Administrator to help us move forward in our Center of Excellence in Vascular Care. This Administrator will be essential in training and motivating the staff toward outstanding patient care. The Administrator must have the skill to build a dynamic team to help achieve this excellence in care.
The Administrator will work closely with the Physician in moving this new business forward and assisting in the transition to a new facility in 2023.
SUMMARY
The Practice Administrator manages daily practice business operations, oversees patient flow and manages staff. The position requires knowledge and experience in all facets of medical business office management including coding and billing. Attention to detail and customer service skills are required to motivate the staff and put improvement plans into place. Must have the ability to run an organization at a high level and get involved in the details where needed in the operation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS
The Administrator will maintain an orderly and efficient office routine while administering established guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluating effectiveness, and modifying activities as necessary. Administrator will maintain accurate records and files pertaining to staff schedules and will maintain personnel records, manage time reporting and payroll. Administrator will coordinate benefits enrollment for employees. Administrator will oversee OSHA room-cleaning schedules and conduct OSHA testing for all employees. Administrator will review patient statements, vendor invoices, and monitor practice receipts, and charges. Administrator will order, stock, and maintain adequate inventories of all medical and office supplies.
Administrator will provide coverage as needed or on a regular basis and will answer patient calls, letters and other correspondence as appropriate. Administrator will be responsible for billing process and providing monthly reports to physician.
MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS The Administrator will align people and projects to achieve initiatives and work with direct reports to establish performance standards for work assignments, monitor work status and progress, including goals and objectives and will complete performance evaluations for direct reports on a timely basis. Administrator will value cultural diversity and other individual differences in the workforce, ensuring that the organization builds on these differences and ensures employees are treated in a fair and equitable manner. Administrator will develop staff through coaching, mentoring, rewarding, training, and guiding and will empower employees and provide recognition and rewards for employee contributions. Administrator will manage employee issues and resolve grievances and may be required to conduct disciplinary meetings and or terminations if requested by the Doctor. Administrator will assist all staff in the interpretation of policies and procedures and will assess current and future staffing needs based on organizational goals.
BUSINESS FUNCTIONS
Administrator will maintain a broad understanding of the principles of financial management and use cost-benefit thinking to set priorities. Administrator will monitor all financial expenditures and identify and implement cost-effective approaches including ways to integrate technology into the workplace and improve workflow processes. Administrator will ensure quality of work performed by direct reports in area(s) of responsibility and will commit to a focus on continuous improvement of workflow processes and procedures.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Administrator will review current literature and attend training sessions and seminars to keep informed of new developments in the field and perform other related duties and responsibilities as directed.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE. College degree required preference in healthcare related field. Three to five years’ related experience, including clinical management and/or training; or Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of current medical terminology in order to communicate with physicians, staff, and patients. Ability to read and interpret documents such as professional journals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to interact and communicate with a variety of people, both on a one-on-one basis and in meetings and group presentations; must be able to relate to and work with ill, emotionally upset, and sometimes hostile people. Ability to anticipate and react calmly to emergency situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to make independent decisions and delegate responsibility and duties. Ability to follow direction. Ability to think logically in order to troubleshoot, analyze situations, and make appropriate decisions. Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail systems, and web-based programs.
Experience with eClinicalWorks a plus.
Experience with including radiology equipment a plus.
Experience in Marketing and Social Media a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
