Health Management Company of America is seeking a Medical Front Desk Receptionists for a high volume Diagnostic Imaging Center in Islandia, New York. As a Medical Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. As first impressions are lasting, it is imperative that our personnel portray patience, understanding and professionalism.

Requirements

• All Applicants must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Medical experience preferred but not required
• Radiology experience a plus
• Schedule: ~15-20 hours per week. Available shifts include Saturday (8am - 8pm), Sunday (8am - 6pm), and 1-2 evenings per week (5/6pm - 11pm). Must be flexible
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. Computer skills with emphasis on accuracy of patient demographic information
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Strong multi-tasking, planning, organization and execution skill and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility to adapt to changing environment and different learning styles
• Insurance Verifications a plus
• Bi-Lingual in Spanish and English a must-have
