Medical Scheduler
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a rockstar Patient Care Coordinator to join a fast-growing Healthcare company ASAP. This is a contract to hire position working full-time onsite near Poulsbo, WA accepting applications now!
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a professional liaison for patients, families, & care providers
- Schedules all patient appointments related to treatment within as well as outside consults and referrals and communicates schedule directly to patients. Coordinates scheduling with other departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Update patient and caregiver contact information in EHR when needed
- Manages and prioritizes scheduling requests
- Communicates with providers (physicians, therapists, etc.) technologists, and nurses regarding the patient's scheduling needs, treatment schedule, and additional requests. Notifies appropriate parties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in the use of word processing (MS Word), email, & data entry in a Windows-based environment.
- Experience with Epic or other scheduling and registration software is preferred.
- HS Diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS Preferred)
- Must have COVID-19 Vaccination
- 1 year of Customer Service / Healthcare Background
Schedule: M-F 8-5
Employment Type: Full time, contract to perm, Onsite
Compensation: $23-25/hr (DOE)
