Overview:

We are looking for an organized, highly detailed Meeting Coordinator to support a Fortune 100 financial services client. Position is 100% remote and reports to a remote manager. The Meeting Coordinator will work directly with the operations team on a wide range of projects related to day-to-day event operations and planning. Your attention to detail and communication skills are just some of the key characteristics that will make you an ideal candidate.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a wide range to comply with pay transparency laws in all states and geographical areas. Many factors, such as years of experience, geographical location, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Assist full-time staff with day-to-day operations (file creation, routing documents for signatures, updating documents with contract information, maintain accuracy in meeting management software across all events, reconciling final event invoices and Cvent budget entry)
  • Research: Venues, entertainment, décor, up-and-coming trends, etc.
  • Running and crosschecking reports in Cvent and Excel
  • Assisting the registration team as needed
  • Coordinate important dates on planner calendars: deposit due dates, attrition release, rooming list due dates, etc.
  • Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in CVENT or meeting management software is a plus, but not required
  • Considered to be tech-savvy
