Mid-Market Account Executive
REMOTE
About the Role:

Your main goal as a Mid-Market Account Executive at Pondurance is to drive net new sales opportunities, while managing upsell opportunities within your assigned geographical territory. In this role, you will partner, cross-functionally, with internal teams to drive net new business opportunities from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract close. This is a self-starting, hunter and quota-carrying role that is critical to the continued success of Pondurance.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and/or exceed your quota by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities at mid-market companies while being a collaborative member of the team.
- Creatively source new prospects and thoughtfully position Pondurance offerings to satisfy their needs. Turn yourself into their trusted advisor and an industry expert.
- Stay current on competitor offerings, be able to identify their strengths and vulnerabilities, but this isn’t the NBA – no trash talking allowed.
- Spin client feedback into actionable strategies to create win-win solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with Solutions Principals, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to ensure seamless implementation and effective ongoing account growth.
- Be a pseudo Road Warrior and travel up to 20% to client meetings as needed.
Technologies:
- Experience with Salesforce: Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity, forecast, and opportunity information.
- Familiarity with Outreach or a similar tool
Knowledge and Skills:
- Full cycle sales experience at a software or technology company (2-5 years preferred)
- Strong track record of success driving revenue through prospecting, creating new business, and sustainably growing existing business.
- Sense of Initiative: Acting independently. Anticipating needs, taking advantage of opportunities and flagging problems in order to attain objectives.
- Sense of Urgency: Responds quickly and decisively to immediate input and demands. Will exert pressure to obtain timely results. Focuses on completing the task at hand in order to move swiftly on to the next.
- Persuasiveness: Leveraging personal qualities, facts, arguments, and a range of communications techniques to convince others to adhere to one’s own ideas, objectives or ways of doing things.
- Listening Skills: Allowing others to express themselves freely by being an attentive, open and active listener.

Available during standard business hours including being available for meetings and collaboration that generally occurs from 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday within the Central Time Zone.
