TridentCare is seeking to hire Mobile Phlebotomists to service several facilities located in San Francisco Bay Area.
Cities you could be providing services to include: San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond, Concord, Walnut Creek, and Antioch.
Our Mobile Phlebotomists work to provide clinical pre-analytical laboratory services to our clients/patients in a mobile setting. Pay is based on experience and mileage is reimbursed for miles driven. Driving time paid.
$1,500 sign-on bonus
Pay rates are established based on years of experience, up to $28.
Qualifications:
- Must have California CPT licensure
- Must have a current, valid State Driver’s license; car insurance; good driving record;
- Possess or has access to a vehicle in good working condition suitable to meet daily driving requirements
- Fully vaccinated or in the process of receiving COVID vaccines
- Proficient in venipuncture and skin puncture using both vacutainer and syringe techniques
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Employee will drive their personal vehicle (unless other accommodations are made) to client facilities (mostly nursing homes) as directed.
- Follows established phlebotomy procedures for obtaining blood samples from patients.
- Properly and accurately identify patients according to TridentCare phlebotomy patient identification policy prior to drawing.
- Ensures that specimens are properly labeled, in the proper tube and accompanied by a completed requisition, including patient billing information prior to transport.
- Plans, organizes draw schedule with attention to priority of patients.
- Completes written logs, time sheets and other required records in a neat and accurate manner.
