HX5 is currently seeking a Modeling and Simulation Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledge and experience in supporting and conducting simulation studies to include but not be limited to:
  • system and component performance
  • engineering trade-offs
  • system effectiveness
• Provide knowledge and experience reviewing modeling work for compliance with regulations and best practices
• Develop relevant models and constraints to run complex dynamic structural, thermal or other analyses
• Review and support work to develop appropriate models to solve complex weapon system issues

Education and Experience:

• Master's degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience; or
• Ph.D. and five (5) years of professional experience
• Undergraduate engineering degree from ABET-accredited college.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.

Other Position Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for this position.
• Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
