Responsibilities:
As an integral member of the Loan Operations Department, this position is mainly responsible for tracking and communicating all identified document and file exceptions for the Escrow, Collateral, Insurance and Documentation Review areas of the Loan Operations Department.
  • Assist in tracking and communicating all identified document/file exceptions for the Escrow, Collateral, Insurance and Document Review areas
  • Communicate with Loan Officers, Branch personnel and Department personnel regarding the status and clearing of exceptions
  • Ensure compliance with bank standards and audit recommendations related to loan documentation
  • Use various systems and programs to improve efficiency (i.e. Tab Fusion, JH SilverLake, Info Access, Excel, etc.)
  • Maintain a basic understanding of the bank’s lending products and services and loan file requirements and document formats/contents for all loan types
  • Cooperate with other members of the Department to achieve departmental goals
  • Other related jobs or duties as requested
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all job-specific training requirements in a timely fashion
  • Provide assistance wherever necessary to help the Loan Operations Department and the Bank in achieving their annual goals
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree in business or equivalent in work experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail as well as proven organizational and analytical skills
  • Able to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints
  • Must have strong PC skills including Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ideal candidate will have two (2) years of banking experience or minimum two (2) years office experience
Other Job Information:
Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday-Friday 8:15-5:00; overtime as required which may include some Saturdays

Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase.
