MSP – Network Engineer
We are a technology service firm that focuses on managed services, cloud, networking, and virtualization. We are currently seeking an experienced MSP – Network Engineer to support our growing company. This is a full time position for a confident, detail oriented MSP – Network Engineer with a professional attitude.
The successful MSP – Network Engineer should have five years in a network administration/engineering role. Additionally, the MSP – Network Engineer must monitor, maintain and optimize network performance and availability. The MSP – Network Engineer will also Handle Client Network support issues and manage and maintain firewalls.
This position pays ABOVE the average salary range, and is commensurate with experience. Final compensation package to be determined based upon Qualifications
MSP – Network Engineer Duties:
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot mid- and large-scale network deployments.
- Configure deploy and manage Cisco Routers, Switches, Wireless access points
- Use network monitoring tools to troubleshoot issues.
- Manage customer tickets and provide quick resolutions.
- Handle Client Network support issues
- Design, Implement, maintain site to site and client to site VPN’s, and SD WAN services
MSP – Network Engineer Skills/Qualifications:
- Preference given to Network Certified Information Technology Professionals (ie CCNP)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls.
- The ability to conduct themselves professionally with clients
- Superior fault analysis, strong troubleshooting, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment on multiple issues simultaneously.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, adherence to deadlines, and ability to work independently and as a member of team.
