Role Overview

• The Multi-Site Senior Community Manager is responsible for overseeing community operations, meeting financial targets, managing and tracking maintenance issues, and providing an excellent customer service experience throughout the resident journey

  Reporting to the Director of Community Management, this role will have great exposure to senior level management and allow you to join a cutting-edge team that is redefining housing in the Bay Area.

  Together with the Director of Community Management you will oversee the financial and operational facets of the portfolio by completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, preparing monthly close-out and financial reports, processing invoices for payment, collecting rent, as well as be responsible for the leasing apartments to prospects and assist your leasing team to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic to the community by using employer outreach programs, internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, e-mail, and all other pertinent websites.)

• 
  Uses the property management software to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data.

• 
  Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction.

• 
  Positively influence the average days vacant and regularly walk vacant apartment homes to ensure apartments are in move-in ready condition.

• 
  Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community’s revenue and occupancy goals by conducting community and apartment tours, lead follow-ups, processing applications, qualifying prospects and preparing lease and move-in packets all the while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, company expectations and procedures.

  Participate in market surveys, and outreach marketing activities to support the success of the property and become a local market expert.

• 
  Promote positive online reviews and resident retention programs to support reputation management goals.

• 
  Maintains confidentiality of sensitive documents and information.

• 
  Represent the communities and oWOW in a professional manner at all times.

• 
  Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.

• 
  Act as the first point of contact at the properties while providing an exceptional customer experience to all.

• 
  Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to the Director of Community Management.

• 
  Collect security deposits, rents and all other funds associated with leasing and document each transaction properly in the community’s management software system.

• 
  At least 5 to 10 years of property management experience.

• Ability to commute to Oakland.

• Driver's License.
