Motor Vehicle Mechanic

Qualifications

•Consistent with President Biden's Executive Order 14042, you must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements to infectious diseases such as COVID-19

•The Executive Order generally requires that all federal workers and federal contractor employees be fully vaccinated by December 8, 2021

• Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching

•2 years motor vehicle maintenance experience

•Knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1

•Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening

•Valid Driver’s License

•Ability to obtain a NAC-I and a CAC

•High School Diploma / GED

• 3-5 year’s maintenance experience preferred

• US Army MOS 91/63 series qualification

• Experience on US Army tactical vehicles

• CDL Preferred

• ASE Certified Preferred

• HVAC EPA Tech Cert 608/609

• Emergency Vehicle Technician Certified ASE Certification

Responsibilities

•The Motor Vehicle Mechanic repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors

•Diagnosing the source of trouble and determining the extent of repairs required; replacing worn or broken parts such as water pumps, fan clutch, or other engine parts; grinding and sanding; replacing injector pumps; replacing transmissions; A/C components, lighting, and ignition systems

•The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position

•Hourly Compensation: $21.02

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $21.02 per hour
