Nanny in Bellevue

This West Bellevue family is seeking a nanny for their twin toddlers. The boys are 2 years 9 months old and are very active. One loves to challenge himself with new physical feats. The other is more interested in walking around outside. Both run around and play a lot inside. They also work on puzzles, look through books and flashcards and enjoy playing at the park. The boys like listening to music and for downtime sometimes watch educational programs, (Sesame Street or Miss Rachel). One twin still naps, from around 1-3pm. The other doesn’t nap, although they continue to try. They would love for a nanny to get him back to napping but understand that it may not happen. A typical day includes breakfast, playtime, an outing (park or walk in the neighborhood), lunch, nap, playtime or outing and dinner. The family describes themselves a loving, close and laid-back family who enjoy spending time together, lots of laughs and fun. Their priorities are that their children are raised in a loving and respectful environment. They are working on teaching them manners and listening and responding to their needs. They also want to make sure that they have an educational and enriching environment. Their ideal nanny is someone who bonds well with the kids, but also commands enough respect that they can reel them in when necessary. Prior educational experience would be great, as would childcare experience generally. They are flexible with experience level, but the more the better! A candidate with a background in education or early childhood education is a bonus. This family has a lot of flexibility and can accommodate a nanny’s needs. Travel with the family is not required, but it would be nice if the nanny would be willing to vacation with the family and/or house sit occasionally. They are looking for a candidate that has the Covid vaccine and takes illness prevention very seriously. Responsibilities include childcare, child meal prep, light housekeeping related to children and transportation.

Location: West Bellevue (Lochleven)

Start Date: Flexible (when the right fit is found)

Kids: 2 children

Wage: $30-$35+/hour, (flexible to commensurate with experience)

Days/Hours: this family has flexibility to offer either part-time or full-time and have flexibility with days/start/end times. They can offer anywhere from 4 hours per day to full-time hours, or even live-in.
