Position Details:
- Full-Time & Part-Time opportunity
- Energetic, self-starter who can work independently and contribute to team environment if patient volume is slow
- Feel comfortable in a range of settings: small group office and large group organizational setting
- Flexibility in shifts to develop and manage patient panel
Front Desk duties will include but are not limited to:
- · Greeting patients in a friendly, professional manner
- · Answering, screening, and directing phone calls to appropriate parties without error
- · Scheduling appointments
- · Reviewing patient registration forms for accuracy and completeness
- · Verifying insurances and requesting co-payments
Back Office duties will include but are not limited to:
- · Preparing and maintaining exam rooms in a clean and organized
- · Taking patient chief complaints, vitals, and assisting with laboratory related tasks
- · Assisting physicians with a wide range of tasks that are related to patient care
- · Contacting pharmacies with new medication and/or order changes as directed
- · Giving vaccinations/injections, performing vision tests, audiograms, and EKG’s, blood draw
Requirements:
· Experience as a medical assistant/receptionist preferably in an Urgent Care and Occ Med setting preferred
· Knowledge of medical terminology
· Electronic Medical Records proficiency
· The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to communicate clearly and effectively

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
