Vidorra Consulting is looking for a highly qualified Network Engineer. This position is for a permanent role with our client and would be to provide pre- and post-sale support for the state of Florida. The ideal candidate will have a very detailed understanding of network principals and fundamentals. They will be very experienced in building, troubleshooting or modifying switch configurations, IP address schemes, VLans, Subnetting and have strong communication skills. This engineer will be able to talk to an audience of varying levels of technical knowledge to convey proposed products and services to assist them with their technological needs. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience and or certifications with at least two of the following types of network infrastructure:

Cisco, Brocade, HPE, Aruba or Extreme switching products
Ruckus, Aerohive, Aruba or Xirrus enterprise wireless
Palo Alto, Fortinet, Barracuda, iBoss or LightSpeed security devices
Cisco Call Manager, Cisco SPARK, Digium, FortiVoice or AllWorx VOIP solutions
Citrix, Hyper-V or VMware hypervisors

A detailed understanding of TCP/IP, network documentation, and routing is expected. The ideal candidate will also possess the ability to function within a team environment and must possess strong inter-personnel skills. This position will encompass remote customer support, traveling to meet with new potential customers and onsite installations as needed. The ability to communicate with our customers and our sales team to manage new and existing customer projects.

Experience and Qualifications:
Design, build, and maintain network systems
Pro-actively identify and resolve network configuration issues
At least five years of information technology experience
At least two years of experience managing Microsoft Active Directory
Strong understanding of network technologies and concepts
Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Active Directory
Comfortable working with virtualization technologies
Traveling to new and existing customer sites and meetings
Work well as part of a team
Comfortable multitasking
Self-motivated
Require little supervision
