Initially the incumbent will be predominately required to report to our corporate headquarters in New Hyde Park, NY or Hauppauge, NY with the opportunity to transition to a hybrid remote work schedule once established.
We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience to include a 125k-140K salary and bonus!!!!!
- Own an enterprise-level network infrastructure/Services environment with 200+ branches and multiple data centers.
- Handle the Enterprise Network Team (3 Palo Alto/Cisco Certified Engineers)
- Handle the Network Operation Center Team (8 NOC Tech and 1 Supervisor)
- Lead the architecture/design of our network, including data center/branch switching and routing, as well as security appliances such as firewalls and IDS/IPS devices.
- Own the health and uptime of our network, servers, websites & critical applications including all appropriate thresholds, alerts & daily/monthly/quarterly reporting
- Ensure completion of equipment installs and relocations (site turn up & moves)
- Lead vendor relationships, resolve issues, handle services and review proposals and
capabilities. - Maintain network equipment inventories and associated documentation.
- Develop appropriate network diagrams/documentation along with NOC policies and
procedures. - Assist in the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive business resumption plan, including design, implementation, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications:- 10+ years’ experience designing, maintaining, securing, and supporting complex data and VOIP networks.
- Cisco CCNP and Palo Alto PCNSA certified (CCIE/PCNSE and other certifications are a plus)
- Experience organizing and leading a team of network engineers in a fast paced environment
- Experience in leading or working in a 24/7/364 NOC team environment
- Deep knowledge of Cisco routing/switching, Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN infrastructure and Cisco Meraki appliances.
- Experience with network automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and the Meraki API
- Knowledge with network monitoring of SolarWinds and PRTG.
- Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity practices.
- Ability to work in both strategic and operational capacities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a retail-focused, high-availability fast-paced environment.
- Available for domestic travel to other branch locations and data centers.
