Position Summary:

Check's front office accounting records for accuracy and, on a daily basis, summarizes and complies information for the hotel's financial records. Tracks room revenue, occupancy percentages, and other front office operating statistics. Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the hotel's financial performance for the day.

Night Auditor Duties and Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:

• To verify that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary evidence and that they have been correctly posted and allocated in the system.
• Verifies all account postings and balances.
• Is able to function as a front desk agent in terms of the checking in and checking out procedures.
• Checks figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
• Prepare End of Day Procedures (following the checklist).
• Balance the day's charges, making corrections as necessary.
• Performs wake-up calls.
• Run end of day process in property management software.
• Understands principals of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
• Respond to guest needs and special requests.

Prerequisites:

Education: High School Graduate (or equivalent).

Experience: Experience preferred, but willing to train

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
