Non Invasive Vascular Lab Technologist, Johnson City, NY

United Health Services is seeking a Non Invasive Vascular Lab Technologist to join our United Health Services Vascular Lab Team. The Vascular Lab is located at 33-57 Harrison St Johnson City NY, 13790.

Shift: Varies

Hours per week: Per Diem

Salary range: $34.09-$51.13/hour, depending on experience

Non Invasive Vascular Lab Technologist Overview

Ensures that the evaluation of Vascular Lab procedures, equipment and staff are administered in a fashion that is accurate, timely, responsive and reliable. Customers served include UHSH employees, Medical Staff, patients and regulatory agencies. Priority will be given to activities that directly affect customer service.

Non Invasive Vascular Lab Technologist Key Responsibilities and Expectations

Coordinates clinical training, orientation and ongoing evaluation of new/existing clinical staff as well as completion and submission of clinical competencies at time of hire and annually.
In collaboration with the unit coordinator, coordinates clinical schedules, ensuring appropriate clinical support.

Position Qualifications

Minimum:
Associate’s degree in Applied Science in vascular technology.

Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy, hemodynamics as well as color flow doppler principles.

Registered or Registry eligible by the ARDMS or CCI as a registered vascular technologist (RVT).
Staff who are Registry eligible are required to successfully pass the Registry exam achieving “Active Registry Status” within one year from the date of hire.

Preferred:
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
