Atento Capital recently expanded to Northwest Arkansas and is looking for a Program Manager to join our team and help build the region with us! This one-of-a-kind human will be a foundational team member within the ecosystem and will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations in Northwest Arkansas and its long-term growth and success. The role has significant scope for impact in one of the country's fastest-growing regions.

As a Northwest Arkansas (NWA) Program Manager, you will be the driving force on events, communication, and operations in NWA for both 412 Angels and startup recruitment, as well as a support lever for the Managing Director for deals.

You will be an ambassador for Atento, and we are excited for you to use your fantastic execution skills to facilitate incredible events and ensure a consistently smooth and stable program. As the NWA Program Manager:

  • You will lead the execution of the annual event calendar for 412 Angels and the broader NWA program by identifying interesting and unique event programming that has a clear and strong value proposition for attendees, in alignment with our goals and KPIs.
  • You are excited to execute flawless events from top to bottom, including:
  • Sourcing and coordinating venues, registrations, food and beverage, AV, swag, materials, etc.
  • The communications process includes marketing materials, save the dates, targeted invites, RSVPs, check-in and overall event experience, feedback surveys, post-event communications to attendees, wrap-around and social media.
  • Coordinating events including but not limited to being the point of contact for day of vendors and third-party event coordinators and executing set up and tear down with support from the broader team as needed. You will also lead the creation and communication of events, ensuring all digital and physical assets required are prepared according to brand standards.
  • You are the public relations representative for 412 Angels and the broader NWA program. You will work closely with the Atento marketing team and any third-party marketing or public relations contractors.
  • You are the go-to person for everything needed to keep the 412 Angels program operationalized, including managing the website, application process, monthly emails, newsletters, event invitations, and follow-up.
  • You’re excited to learn AngelList to support the Managing Director by running point administratively with any deals on the 412 Angel platform.
  • You frequently communicate with the 412 Angels about events, deals, and ecosystem excitement.
  • You’re excited to attend local industry events and represent Atento Capital with enthusiasm at startup events.
  • You are the ultimate team player and a catch-all for various initiatives in NWA that may come up, from events to planning and hosting out-of-town guests and attending conferences.

As Ideal NWA Program Manager:

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or an associated field
  • You have 2+ years of program coordination, operations, or event management experience
  • You have a strong interest in startups, venture capital, angel investing, and community building
  • You are aligned with Atento’s Core Values of People First, Curious, Humble, and Exceptional
  • You have a deep passion and personal purpose for helping others, especially those traditionally overlooked
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You are a self-starter who is both proactive and creative with a bias toward action
  • Are comfortable with not knowing the answer and eager to learn
  • You can juggle competing priorities and tasks with efficiency and a good attitude
  • You have exceptional time-management and organizational skills
