NURSE
Location: East Otis, Massachusetts
Compensation: commensurate based on experience
Dates: Approximately early-June to early-August

Camp Description: The Berkshire Soccer Academy is a private overnight soccer camp for girls. We offer an elite training
experience for girls, ages 10-18, in a traditional camp setting on a private lake.
Scope of Work: There are 2 Nurses that lead the Health Center, working alongside the Athletic Trainers. Nurses will manage
the day to day operation of our health center and will work closely with and will be provided guidance by the Camp Directors
and our Head Nurse (RN). A typical day for the Health Center staff may begin as early as 7:00AM and end as late as 10:00PM.
All staff receive regularly schedules breaks, as well as 1 scheduled day off for every 6 working days. Nurse responsibilities
include:
1) Caring for ill or injured patients who are admitted to the Health Center;
2) Reviewing camper health history forms prior to camper arrival;
3) Sorting and dispensing medication to campers;
4) Responding to any "emergency" which may arise at camp;
5) Maintaining health logs for each camper and staff member;
6) One member of the health staff will be “on-call” every night
7) Assist in In-take of all campers on Arrival Day; this includes a health screening and lice check
Job Qualifications based on our Service Standards:
RN Preferred or LPN, LVN, CNA or equivalent certification.
Must have 2+ years of practical nursing experience
Must enjoy working with kids, ages 10-18, and their families
Ability to manage health forms and paperwork in an organized and detail-oriented manner

Must enjoy receiving constructive feedback, and proven experience taking action to correct performance.
