JOB TITLE: Office Manager - CSC Northern California
COMMITMENT: Full-Time, On Site
COMPENSATION: $ 60,000 – 65, 000 per year, commensurate to experience

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Northern California branch office and schedulers by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Direct and manage all branch office functions in an efficient manner.
  • Manage and oversee scheduling operations and Schedulers of the branch office to ensure efficient and sufficient scheduling of event staff personnel for client venues
  • Schedule employees and ensure other schedulers schedule sufficient employee for events by using the company authorized computer systems
  • Supervise schedulers in the branch office on company policies and use of company authorized scheduling and computer systems
  • Forecast, plan and communicate all current and future job expectations across the various Branch work sites and/or venues
  • Review and input weekly employee payroll
  • Maintain branch office files in an organized and accessible manner to include updating information, purging files on a regular basis per company retention policies and creating new filing systems as needed.
  • Answer multi-line telephone system, take accurate messages, and screen and directs telephone calls in a professional manner.
  • Interact with employees and clients in a professional manner.
  • Inventory and order office supplies as needed.
  • Arrange for office equipment repairs as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence and office memos in an efficient manner.
  • Advise branch manager and assistant branch manager of office issues in a timely manner.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Report all unsafe practices to management in writing.
  • May travel to the various job sites to provide supervision and field representation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly supervises employees in the office and at client events as directed by branch management. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree preferred. Prior administrative experience helpful.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Must become proficient in company Workforce Management Systems
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and flexibility to interact with employees with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, applicants or organizations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Must be a self-starter and be able to make independent decisions
