Job description
We are a multi million dollar general construction company located in Downtown Sarasota, FL. We are looking for an energetic individual to join our office team as the Office Manager. You must have an open-mind and be willing to learn, but most importantly, be self-motivated and committed to meeting deadlines.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, cost coding, approval of invoices, and subcontractor payment applications
- Apply for and track permits through the initial application phase to final permit release
- Drafting construction documents, such as contracts, lien releases, warranties, etc.
- Providing accurate project cost analysis reports to the Owners and Project Managers for each job
- Scheduling and maintaining office meetings, as well as scheduling events for the Partners calendar
- Collaborating with management on bid package preparation, submittals, and other projects, as needed
- Answering phone calls and taking messages, placing inbound leads in our online databse,
- Must have the following: Experience with Microfost Office, Excel, Outlook, Word
- Strong multitasking ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
