Eastern Illinois University is seeking candidates for a full-time Civil Service position of Office Manager in the Sandra and Jack Pine Honors College. This position will be responsible for general office support as well as serving as a liaison between the Honors College and other units at EIU and prospective students, managing events, scholarship processes, databases, and communications. In addition, the candidate will review and monitor the fiscal transactions of the department, and maintain overall awareness of all organizational activities.
Qualified candidates must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have 24 months of clerical/office support work experience comparable to that performed at the Office Support Specialist level of this series or in other positions of comparable responsibility.
The Civil Service examination for this position is a credentials assessment. No participation other than the submission of application materials is required from qualified applicants.
