Mid-Delta Home Health & Hospice, a Christian organization, believes in the power of continual education to help implement best practices to ensure positive healthcare outcomes for our patients. We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager/Medical Secretary to join our professional team in Yazoo City, MS!

This individual should preferably have two or more years of college education in a health related field, secretarial science or computer science. At least two years of office management experience is preferred.

Job knowledge as follows:

* Exhibits verbal communication skills to manage telephone communication effectively.

* Exhibits written communication skills sufficient to prepare accurate reports, call lists, physician referrals, letters requesting or transmitting information, receiving or sending physicians orders.

* Exhibits an awareness of social protocol in interactions with members of the public, who represent all socioeconomic levels, as well as in interaction with co-workers.

* Possesses the ability to develop and maintain cordial relationships without compromising work performance.
