Job description

Assume overall responsibility for the safety and security of the facility and designated areas.

• Patrol designated areas in accordance with outlined security procedures.
• Identify potential safety and/or security risks, respond, and report accordingly.
• Control and direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
• Complete incident reports and required documentation for all safety and security

related incidents.

• Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing secure zones

within the building (ID badges and passes).

• Proactively assist visitors and Linemates while exhibiting the best in

customer service skills.

• Demonstrate good judgement and quickly identify best course of action for dealing

with dangerous or difficult situations.

• Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed and make appropriate

internal notifications.

• Monitor alarms and security surveillance systems.
• Assist facility operations staff in securing designated areas during

maintenance emergencies, team practice, and contribute to the team effort by

accomplishing related collaborative tasks as needed.

• Maintain professional and effective relationships with local law enforcement

and fire department.

• Actively assist and assume responsibility for the receipt and delivery of all

mail/packages arriving at City National Arena.

• Maintain all associated documentation and record keeping for package

delivery and visitation logs.

• Assist Linemates with the coordination of shipping all mail/packages leaving City

National Arena.

• Assist with the creation and implementation of various safety and security training

plans.

• Assist with conducting annual, semi-annual, or bi-annual safety and security

refresher training for Linemates and other duties assigned as needed.

• Compliance with all policies and work rules of the Company; and
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.
