From our Tucson Development Center (TDC), you will work directly with internal and external customers to coordinate the development and support efforts required by our business units. You will create project plans, financial accounting documentation, and management review materials and be responsible for the execution of deliverables.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Effectively lead multiple developmental and support projects that require customer interface, requirements gathering, specification writing, resource estimates, schedule development, budget development, progress monitoring, product release and program implementation.
- Apply product development process discipline including WBS, schedule, SOWs, risk management plans, requirements traceability and scope management.
- Document, distribute, maintain and obtain approvals for Requirements Functional Specification (RFS), including preliminary system architecture and conceptual design.
- Develop Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP), coordinate approval efforts, and assist in the execution of the ATP.
- Manage customer input for projects as assigned, including customer feedback, tracking and resolution.
- Manage all project-related activities and decisions to achieve on-schedule, on-budget, and on-quality project delivery
Requirements:
- Proven ability to successfully manage product and software development and support projects to conclusion.
- Knowledge and experience with computerized tools for creating and maintaining project management documentation (specifically, Microsoft Project and Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge and experience with systems engineering practices, requirements development and management.
- Skilled in best practices and coordination of project management activities and tools.
- Skilled in the use of scheduling tools and techniques for tracking budgets, resource assignments, timelines, and quality.
- Proven ability to understand the assignment, create an execution plan, and obtain and analyze data.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and problem-solve.
- Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of marketing or business development is a plus
