Reports to: Operations Management Team Lead

Job Summary: Performs a broad range of tasks such as client onboarding, ongoing support of Acuity’s internal team, and special projects that improve effectiveness and efficiency of Acuity’s internal operations.

Job Relationships: No direct reports. Sits on the operations team, works collaboratively with delivery services and clients.

Education, Experience, & Certifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience required. Accounting firm experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of full-cycle accounting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.
  • Familiar with various cloud-based accounting softwares.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work with little or no supervision.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a smooth and efficient customer onboarding experience for Acuity's bookkeeping services and related add ons.
  • Set the tone for a proactive and collaborative relationship between the customer and the Accounting Team.
  • Support Acuity team members by answering questions related to basic problems and removing roadblocks so they can maintain productivity.
  • Troubleshoot accounting problems, develop action plans, and recommend additional services or solutions to clients when appropriate.
  • Perform special projects that support Acuity’s internal operations and focus on delivering a high-quality work product through employee success measures.

  • Must be able to:
    • Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
    • Communicate with others to exchange information.
    • Repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
