Shift: primarily 4 10 hour shifts

Job Description:

We are seeking a full time Operation manager to assist in leading delivery/distribution operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Specifically, the incumbent will ensure:

• Delivering in a timely and accurate manner packages to recipients

• Monitoring, verifying, communicating responding to and acting upon the information generated from packages out for delivery as well as responding in a timely manner to requests for information or inquiries from internal and external sources;

• Following up on service issues, finding solutions and achieving resolution, closing out delivery day

• Building an operation that is capable of exceeding KPI’s, increasing volume and producing a profit

• Sustaining LaserShip’s culture through actively developing people, delegating work, communicating fundamentals and monitoring performance as well as motivating, recognizing and rewarding individuals and teams

• Establishing professional relationships and channels of communication with Independent Contractors that promote and support the goals of the business

• Implementing standard processes and procedures

In addition to a robust skill set that includes the ability to work independently, problem solve and communicate effectively, the ideal candidate will possess:

• 2 years management experience, preferably in a small package facility or logistics/3PL environment

• Ability to lead others

• Effective at meeting deadlines

• Experience with hiring, training, motivating, disciplining and completing performance evaluations for employees

• Strong computer skills, with emphasis on MS Office

• BA/BS in business or related discipline

• Strong Distribution Background is a plus
