Job description
Summary Operates machines to automatically fold envelopes by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Operates all machines in manufacturing.
- Examines work order to determine specifications and sample verification.
- Inspects product quality according to quality guidelines.
- Maintains accurate counts of envelopes to boxes, cartons, and skids.
- Packs envelopes uniformly and neatly, keep up with the machine speed.
- Places die cut paper stacks onto feed of machine.
- Checks order throughout course of production to ensure accurate labeling, printing, and packaging of product.
- Assists in removing paper jams and preventative maintenance when scheduled.
- Completes appropriate paperwork to record labor, time and quantity.
- Machine wash-ups and other cleaning duties.
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to read a ruler
- Strong math skills
- Team player
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally during shift.
- Ability to stand for approximately 70% of the time during shift.
- Machine operator experience preferred, BUT WE WILL TRAIN.
