Privately-owned Optometry office is looking for an experienced Optometric Technician/ Front Desk to join our expanding team. New office will be on Racetrack Road in St. Johns. Position is Full-Time with NO WEEKENDS!! Competitive salary, health insurance benefits, retirement contributions, paid vacation time, and a monthly bonus plan is included. You must be friendly and reliable with the ability to multitask. Primary duty will be pretesting patients, secondary duties include answering phones, making appointments, checking out patients, submitting insurance claims, and sending outpatient referrals.

Position Requirements:

*Minimum of 1 year of optical, optometry, or ophthalmology experience required.

*Must have strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and organized records.

*Must have exceptional customer service skills.

*The ideal candidate is proficient with EHR or EMR systems. Eyefinity Software is a bonus.

*Experience in filing and submitting insurance claims is a bonus.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
