Title: Oracle EBS/Cloud Logistics - Warehouse Management / Shipping Functional – Fulltime Job Opportunity

Location: 100% Remote

Description:

The candidate will focus on developing, maintaining, and directing support of Oracle applications, specifically in Oracle EBS/Cloud Logistics (Warehouse Management) The candidate may or may not have a software development background but will have expertise in designing solutions using Oracle Fusion native functionality, presentation, team management, and thought leadership skills.

The candidate will provide best-fit design solutions for projects; the candidate will assist in defining the scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. The candidate will provide solution designs for the business problems, design for platform integration with third-party services, and design and develop complex features for business needs. The candidate will also contribute to a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. The candidate will provide leadership and guidance in requirements gathering, and ensure documentation of existing and proposed, business processes while collaborating with team members to ensure complete engagement and delivery.

What will you do?

  • Raise the bar on technology solution design
  • Demonstrate broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, exerting influence outside of the immediate team and driving change
  • Document and clearly communicate solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation
  • Provide solution design assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains
  • Lead projects within solutioning of customer requirements and needs. Work with Product Managers to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to prioritize, design, develop, test, and release features.
  • Engage with Technical Architects and technical staff to determine the most appropriate technical strategy and designs to meet business needs
  • Lead ongoing efforts in direct support, implementation, and maintenance of Warehouse Management and Logistics solutions
  • Estimate project and solution effort and recommend team structure for each deliverable
  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new solutions
  • Configure the system per the solution design
  • Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production
  • Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks
  • Mentor and provide solution design and native functionality guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications
  • Drive common vision, practices, and capabilities across teams within the scope of your expertise
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience with Oracle EBS and Oracle Warehouse Management
  • At least 3 project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (discover, design, implement and optimize) of Oracle Warehouse Management are a MUST. Experience with Oracle Cloud Service Logistics is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of Logistics and Warehousing business processes
  • Leadership experience with the ability to provide strategic planning and oversight
  • Have a solid understanding of the delivery methodology and demonstrated experience leading teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design
  • Fluent and current on solution design trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction
  • Experience in defining new and novel approaches and ability to drive an independent project from design to delivery on a schedule
  • Experience leading customer workshop sessions to educate customers on the latest technology trends and best practices
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with system users, management, corporate departments, and outside vendors
  • Proficient in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit requirements, document written solution designs, communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, development teams, and other ancillary project members
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing offshore teams
  • Experience mentoring/coaching team members and develop their skills
  • Experience working on (potentially leading) multiple concurrent projects and successfully managing prioritization conflicts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Oracle Cloud Warehouse Management (release 20+) is highly desirable
  • Experience with non-Oracle WMS systems (Manhattan, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, etc.) is highly desirable
  • Advanced level of business functional expertise, illustrated by APICS certification or similar
  • Experience with >3 WMS implementations is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
