On the Road CDL Class A Truck Driver

Our Drivers will drive through the Valley picking up trees and plants from our Farms and delivering to our Retail nurseries daily.
Drivers Pick up and drop off between these locations:
Based out of: Corporate, Phoenix, AZ
Pay: $25.00-30.00/hr DOE
Drop Off locations:
- CA, NV, TX, AZ
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Safely operate a Truck with Trailer
- Provide excellent service to our Farm Managers and Retail Managers
- Load and unload freight
- Operate Truck in narrow dirt roads within our farms and retail spaces
- Maintain product as safe and intact as possible
- Turn in Order paperwork to Managers
What you need:
- To be 21 years of age or older
- Valid CA Class A Commercial driver's license
- Safe driving record and history
- To pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals
- To pass a company-paid DOT physical and pre-hire drug test
- Availability to work a flexible schedule that’s up to 12 hours in a day.
This job requires the ability to:
- Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally); move and position a converter dolly with an average weight/pull force of approximately 100 lbs.
- Safely climb in/out of a trailer
- Sit for extended periods of time in a truck
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather) at our Farms or Nurseries.
- Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
Education
High school diploma or GED diploma, or one to three months’ related experience and/or training (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience)
Physical requirements/Working conditions
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, calculators, bar code readers, etc., working in a combination of a basic office environment and an outdoor nursery environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects up to 50-75lbs. on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs. intermittently.
