As an
Outside Plant Analyst, you will provide outside plant project support for a geographic area. This will include, but not be limited to support for outside plant engineering (OSPE) and/or construction (OSPC) efforts. You will work closely with a group of engineers and/or construction personnel to ensure that outside plant projects are completed on time, in scope and on budget. This may include monitoring and management of scope, budget, timeline, installation and integration.

- Provides support to engineering and construction personnel by collecting and verifying data required to complete outside plant engineering and construction tasks.
- Examine project documentation related to outside plant functions. Ensure data completeness and accuracy.
- Assist in preparation of records, statistics and reports regarding outside plant functions.
- Maintain data integrity of certain outside plant related tools.
- Evaluate and recommend changes in method and procedures in assigned area of responsibility.
- Perform rudimentary office administrative functions.
Required Job Qualifications
- Associates degree (or higher) -OR- 2+ years professional work experience -OR- current or prior military service with honorable discharge.
- 2+ years of utility construction – AND/OR - engineering experience
Other Qualifications
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new tools (i.e.: GIS, UTS, Clarity, etc.) as they are deployed.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Organized, self-motivated, detail orientated, analytical, able to work with minimal supervision.
- SAP Experience/knowledge
- 1+ years of telecommunications experience
- Project Management experience/exposure
