Outside Rater/Scorer - Texas Teacher Pre-Certification Testing

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate student responses to open-ended questions in a reliable manner and score according to the supplied scoring guide.
- Successfully internalize training and customer scoring guide.
- Must be able to put aside personal biases and apply scoring guide according to requirements.
- Able to meet rate and quality management standards established for the project.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college
- 2 years of teaching or K-12 leadership experience in Texas
- Appropriate Texas Educator Certificate for the content being scored
- Computer Skills and Knowledge of Canvas or other LMS
- Ability to maintain a confidential work environment
- Access to a personal computer that meets the requirements of the scoring system
- Internet service, and telephone connection
- Flexible schedule during business hours and willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed
- T-PESS or T-TESS Certification where appropriate
- 5 or more years of teaching or K-12 leadership experience in Texas
