We solve their problem of overflowing containers, inefficiency & high cost of waste management with our service. They don't need to change a thing, just bring us in and we save them money. What a fun sales opportunity!

PLEASE NOTE: The Territory is the Greater St Paul Metropolitan Area - Applicants must live within 30 minutes of St Paul Minnesota or are relocating to St. Paul MN. This is an In-the-field, in-person sales position.

We’re looking for 2-3 results-driven outside sales professionals to actively seek out and engage new business customers to offer a WIN/WIN solution that SAVES their business money.

Open territories include:

North East Metro,
South Minneapolis,
Bloomington,
St Paul,
South East Metro area.

The successful candidate will be in the territory calling on potential customers 4 days per week with 1 office day (remote or in office) for planning, proposals and phone calls. Full Time Employee, Part Time Employee, or as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

The Role
Smash My Trash is looking for hardworking, creative thinking individuals with exceptional sales skills and a track record of outstanding achievement to join our team.
This is a “hunter” role with uncapped earning potential and professional growth opportunities. You will be measured based on the new revenue you drive for the company, the volume of business you build, and growth month over month.

You Will Be

  • Creating new business opportunities through direct prospecting, high-value sales activities, and networking across a defined territory and strategic account list
  • Scheduling and coordinating on-site demos (which is the cornerstone of our sales process), presenting a custom proposal, and managing prospect communication through to closed-won.
  • Maintaining CRM records for weekly/monthly sales reports
  • Representing the company at appropriate association meetings, conferences, and trade shows
  • Contribute to our promise to help our target customers reduce haul fees and drive increased profitability

Skills

  • Highly Motivated and target driven self-starter with positive attitude and discipline to work from home and at the office efficiently and productively.
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative or highly engaged customer service representative, lead generation is a big PLUS.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with CRM (training provided)
  • Ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Excellent selling, communication and problem solving skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • 4 year degree or equivalent in experience
  • Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle

  • Experience with G Suite, Route Optimization, and HubSpot preferred
