Outside Sales Associate – Division 3

An international consumer electronics company is seeking a qualified sales associate with experience in outside sales and negotiation. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of sales and excellent communication skills.

This company is a major consumer electronics manufacturer originating from Japan. More information about the company will be disclosed to applicants.

** Knowledge in Japanese, Korean, Chinese or Vietnamese a plus! **

General Position Summary:

This position is responsible for conducting sales for the assigned sales area – LA County, suggesting strategies to management, developing business, and implementing sales functions.

Job Duties:

  • Increase Profits by achieving sales targets, operating within budgetary guidelines and communicating with potential customers
  • Develops proactive sales methods including end user customer presentations, phone sales, potential cold calling, and new business opportunities at trade shows and industry events
  • Manages and expands customer accounts by contacting customers regularly via telephone, e-mail, letters and in person
  • Attend “house” shows as necessary to introduce new products
  • Visits customers to pick up repairs, deliver orders, or drop off orders on a daily basis throughout LA county
  • Provides price quotes, proposals, and credit terms to current and prospective customers through product presentations
  • Participates in monthly meetings; producing monthly TOP 10 reports, and by reporting problems to management verbally or in writing in order to avoid confusion and further problems.
  • This individual would come into the office in the morning but leave approximately around 10am or so to visit their clients. Company car is provided

R*equirements: *

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management preferred.
  • 3+ years of Outside Sales or Account Management
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Great Plains, EDI, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Proficient understanding of MS Excel for report creation
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to individuals and groups in English
  • Daily travel to clients (restaurants/grocery stores/appliance stores in but not limited to) Orange & LA County.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and customers in English
  • Knowledge of Japanese language and culture a big plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
