The P&C Insurance First Notice of Loss Specialist - Work from Home (Permanent) acts as a first point of contact primarily via inbound calls for customers reporting a loss, while applying principles for executing phenomenal service with excellence and empathy. Active listening, critical thinking, and detail-oriented skills are essential to effectively perform this role. Clear and compassionate communication, a commitment to exceptional customer service, a consistent willingness to be flexible, along with an enthusiastic desire to play as a team is a must. Candidates work with sophisticated Commercial Lines in this position.
The schedule for this position is 9 AM - 6 PM CT Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities Include:
> Respond quickly to calls and inquiries via telephone, email, and system tickets.
> Learn policy fundamentals, business procedures and various processing systems relevant to claims and contact center operations.
> Validate policy information, enter loss information, and select the appropriate line of business for electronic claims creation while using multiple platforms.
> Recognize exposures based on the facts of the loss and policy coverage
> Establish clear claims handling expectations for customers.
> Meet monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets.
