The responsibilities of the Packaging Associate embrace the key areas described below. The most critical role is to ensure that all products are properly measured, packaged, labeled, and tracked for shipment and sale.
Duties:
· Taking in shipments of cannabis and weighing, inputting, packaging and labeling shipments for sale
· Performing regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
· Weighing, counting, making pre-rolls and labeling of products
· Performing work-station or assembly line type operations
· Follows and executes compliant practices adhering in accordance with state regulations and Pure Oasis' standard operating procedures.
· Promotes a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and rooted in education
Responsibilities:
· Maintains extensive knowledge of Cannabis products
· Is knowledgeable about MA compliance and reporting regulations
· Maintains a clean, safe, and well managed work station
· Acknowledges any inventory issues and properly reports them to management
· Works effectively in a team environment
· Completes other duties as assigned in a timely and appropriate manner
Qualifications:
· Extremely high attention to detail, including the ability to detect quality defects and perform accurate counts and measurements
· Demonstrated history of strong attendance, including the ability to adhere to a strict regular schedule
· Ability to work within a team and cultivate long-term working relationships, maintains a positive attitude in a busy department
· Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently, bend, stoop and twist with or without reasonable accommodation
· Fun attitude and strong work ethic
Supervision:
· Works under the general supervision of the Inventory Manager and General Manager
· This position is not responsible for supervising other employees
Required Skills
· At least 21 years of age.
· Must have High School Diploma or GED to be considered
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Computer operating skills
· Recreational or medical cannabis product knowledge highly desirable, but not required
· Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
· Ability to genuinely and respectfully connect with coworkers and visitors
· Desire to learn more about cannabis
· Organization and planning skills
· Strong operational skills in a service environment
· Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
· Ability to build relationships both internally as well as in the community
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
· Ability to work a mostly set and reliable schedule
· Available to work occasional weekend hours as needed
· Reliable Transportation
- Must have the ability to successfully pass a background check annually.
- Must have the ability for approval of agent registration card from the Cannabis Control Commission.
- All employees are required to be vaccinated to keep everyone safe.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
