Miller Brother Staffing is recruiting for Packers for our client in Pittsburgh, PA!
1st shift: $16.00
7am - 3pm Monday-Friday and every other Saturday
2nd shift: $16.50
3:00PM - 11pm Monday - Friday and every other Saturday
3rd shift: $17.50
11PM - 7:00am Sunday - Friday and every other Saturday General Function:
Responsible for the loading of product and component hoppers, final pack out of all finished good and any other assignments as specified by Supervisor

Responsible for the loading of product and component hoppers, final pack out of all finished good and any other assignments as specified by Supervisor
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the set-up and checking of packaging line and line clearances
- Ensure SOP compliance is followed
- Assist in all types of cleaning on the lines and removal of rejects and waste.
- Perform line clearance and ensure compliance to GMPs.
- Verify components/materials against the Production Batch Record prior to moving items onto the packaging line.
- Verify lot and expiry date of work order against Production Batch Record
- Inspection of finished goods prior to case packing.
- Verify production counts on finished skids.
- Complete finished pallet paperwork.
- Material handling using hand pallet jack.
- Labeling of boxes as directed.
- Monitor equipment functionality
- Focus on quality of product, labeling and final packaging
- Execute daily plan and ensure line operational efficiency.
Required Abilities:
- Physical dexterity
- Mathematical and reading skills
- Attention to detail and follow instructions
- Good organizational and basic leadership skills
- Willingness to learn and develop in role
- Act as a mentor to help train employees online duties and equipment operation.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
