Job description

We are looking for a experienced registered nurse with a strong background in conscious sedation to join our new pain management and wellness practice in Phoenix. Candidate must be a team player who will work hard to provide quality patient care. This position requires excellent organizational and computer skills.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Ensure that informed consents are in order

Initiate IVs and ensure that patients are informed about the procedure

Take and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for procedure

Assess patients’ condition after procedure has been performed

Ensure that all vitals are within normal range

Log all findings in patients’ files

Answer patients’ questions and ensure that they are kept comfortable

Ensure that all nursing activities are carried out in accordance to individual patient care plan

Initiate patient education programs to ensure that both patients and families are educated on procedures and medications

Determine when patients are ready to be discharged home

Perform intervention duties in cases of post-procedure emergencies

Required Skills:

Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in Arizona

Must have Conscious Sedation Certification

Must have at least 2-5 years' previous experience in Conscious Sedation

Previous experience in pain management strongly preferred

Must have current BLS, ALS and PALS

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, PRN

Pay: From $48.00 per hour

• Arizona RN License (Required)
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Medical License (Required)
• Conscious Sedation Certification (Preferred)
