POSITION SUMMARY

Assess injuries, administer emergency medical care, and extricate trapped individuals. Transport injured or sick persons to medical facilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follows departmental protocols for proper patient treatment and care
• Proficient and knowledgeable in defibrillation, cardioversion, pacing, 12 lead EKGs, and rhythm analysis
• Identifies airway problems and provides the patient with advanced airway management
• Is proficient at IV skills
• Maintains excellent communication skills with in-hospital and out of hospital ancillary services
• All other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Current Paramedic license with one year experience.
